New York Trip Day 2

Day 2
We slept in a little. Then headed to Duffs for some famous Buffalo wings. The it was off to the Beach by the Niaraga River.

Jace loved this huge Sandbox. He loved to chase the seagulls.

The boys loved making this long river down to the river.

Then we headed to a Pizza place that we found on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. It was very good but the kids were tired of waiting.

As you can see very good!

We ended the day with a stroll along to Niagara River. It was amazing!

Our New York Trip Day 1

Day 1
Our trip to New York was so much fun! Here is how it began.....We were really excited so we got to the airport at 8pm to catch a 11:36pm flight. Like I said we were really excited!!! We checked in at 9pm and headed to the gate. The boys were so excited! Then our flight was delayed until 1am. No big deal the boys just hung out and played the ipad. We were able to get Jace to fall asleep in the stroller. He stayed asleep most of the flight. Jayden and Jaron were so excited to have there own little T.V.'s to watch they plugged in there ear phones and watched away. Jaron fell asleep a little while after we took off. Jayden on the other had stayed awake the entire flight. We landed in the JFK airport at 7:30am. Ran to our connecting flight that left at 8am. We barely missed it. So we waited until an 11:30 am flight to Buffalo,NY. We went and got some breakfast while we were eating Jayden started falling off his chair. He was asleep! Poor thing. So after some breakfast we headed over to our gate and the boys fell fast asleep until our flight left. We made it to Buffalo at 1pm. We were excited to see Anthony, Kristie, Parker, McKenzie and Kaitlynn. We hung out for the rest of the day. I even got a little girls night out with Kristie and her friends. I got to play Bunko! It was so much fun!

Jaron's Pre-school Graduation

Jaron with Miss Emily and Miss Robin.

Proud big brother.
I can't believe that Jaron has now graduated from pre-school. Time is just flying by. They had an adorable program and Jaron did most of the actions. We went and ate at Golden Corral before the program. I thought this would be fun since we have never been and the kids could just pick what they wanted to eat. They loved it!

Growing Mint???

The other day we received our Family Fun magazine in the mail. Jayden loves this magazine! He was looking through it while I was cooking dinner.
He said to me "Mom they are growing mint in soup cans."
I said "yep they are."
Jayden says " I want to grow mint."
I said "yeah ok"
(I am busy cooking dinner so I am just replying not really paying to much attention)
I turn around to find Jayden climbing in the cabinet where the candy is hidden.
I said "Jayden what are you doing?" He says "I am looking for a Mint."
I started laughing so hard I was crying. Jayden had the most confused look on his face.
He said "What are you laughing at"
I said "Are you looking for a Mint to plant?"
He said "Yeah, What is so funny?"
So Jayden was going to Plant a Peppermint Candy in dirt to grow Mint.
That makes perfect sense to an 8 year old! I hope you are laughing as hard as I was. Needless to say we will be growing mint in our garden this year for Jayden! I am so glad that I have this adorable little boy in my home to help me stop and laugh and give him big hugs. Time goes by to fast and he will be on his own before I know it!

The Art Show

Jayden had a great time designing and making his art project for the Art Show at his school. He decided to make a football field, football and a wii remote out of clay. He loves to play football on the wii. It was so fun to see how proud he was of his project. The art teacher and a secret panel judged the projects and Jayden won 1st place in his grade. He was very excited! He is getting so old! I just can't believe it!
